Terms and Conditions for Prop and Decor Rental
By using our prop and decor rental services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Rental Agreement
- All rentals are subject to the terms outlined in this agreement. By booking with The Lurve Event, you confirm acceptance of these terms.
2. Reservation and Payment
- A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to secure the rental.
- Full payment is due 7 days before the event date.
- Payment can be made via bank transfer.
3. Rental Period
- The standard rental period is 3 days.
- Late returns will incur a late fee of RM10 per day/item.
4. Self-Pickup
- All items must be picked up at our location at the agreed-upon time.
- Clients must ensure they have adequate transportation to safely transport the rented items.
- Pickup times are to be coordinated in advance. Failure to pick up items within the designated timeframe may result in a late fee or cancellation of the order.
5. Responsibility for Items
- Once the rental items are picked up, the client is responsible for the safe handling and transport of the items.
- Items must be returned to our location by the agreed-upon date and time. Any delays in return will incur a late fee.
6. Care and Use of Items
- Clients are responsible for the proper care and handling of all rental items during the event.
- Items should not be altered, painted, or moved from their original location without prior approval.
- Any damage, loss, or theft of rental items will result in additional charges for repair or replacement, as determined by the retail value of the item.
7. Damage and Loss
- If items are damaged, lost, or not returned, the client will be charged the full replacement value of the item(s).
- If items are returned dirty or damaged beyond normal wear and tear, the client will incur a cleaning or repair fee.
- Damages must be reported to us immediately upon discovery.
8. Cancellations and Changes
- Cancellations must be made at least 14 days before the event date.
- Changes to the rental order (including additions or reductions in items) must be made at least 7 days before the event date.
9. Indemnification
- The Lurve Event is not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or damages that occur during the event.
10. Substitutions
- In rare cases, we may need to substitute items due to availability or other factors. We will notify you of any substitutions and make every effort to provide an item of equal or greater value.
11. Ownership
- All rental items remain the property of The Lurve Event. Clients are renting the items for the specified period and are not permitted to sell, transfer, or alter them.
